Room types

Define room categories (e.g. Deluxe, Suite) used for inventory, pricing, and availability on hotel storefronts.

Steps

1. Open /admin/room-types.
2. Click Add (or equivalent) to create a room type.
3. Enter name, description, capacity, base rate, and media as shown in the form.
4. Save. Room types appear in hotel booking and availability flows.
5. Edit or deactivate types you no longer sell.

Verify it worked

• New type appears in the admin list.
• Storefront room search/availability reflects the type when dates and guests are selected.
